The regional centre of Barnstaple is 20 minutes drive and offers a large selection of shops bars restaurants and leisure facilities. Also nearby is the town of Great Torrington where you can take a trip to the museum of 1646 step back in time to watch the re-enactment of the Battle of Torrington. Other attractions include RHS Rosemoor Gardens or Dartington Crystal enjoy a spot of lunch or flash the cash in the superb gift shop.
