Although many guests will choose to enjoy the peacefulness and total seclusion afforded by the beautiful surroundings for those wishing to explore the Exmoor National Park lies 2 miles to the south. There are a host of country pursuits within easy reach including walking fly and sea fishing pony trekking game and clay pigeon shooting bird watching and mountain biking. There are golf courses at Tiverton and Minehead and there are a number of award-winning beaches on the north coast. Leisure facilities: fly fishing available 2 minute walk from the lodge you are welcome to bring your own equipment or hire equipment from the owner.
