Claife Heights is also within walking distance a National Trust owned viewing platform which offers unrivalled views across Windermere. The cottage is located in the hamlet of Far Sawrey the neighbouring hamlet to which is Near Sawrey a popular destination for visitors who wish to visit Hill Top the former home of Beatrix Potter. Entering this beautiful property through the hallway guests come to the elegantly styled kitchen/diner the focal point of which is the Aga with its pretty tiled surround. There is also a large dining table here as well as an electric hob microwave fridge/freezer and dishwasher. French windows from this room lead out onto the property s patio. The lovely cosy lounge has a warming open fire comfortable sofas TV/DVD and hi-fi. Also on the ground floor there is a double bedroom and a shower room with WC which also houses the washer/dryer.
