We do have strict guidelines for dog owners and they very rarely present a problem. We do ask all dog owners to adhere to these guidelines (failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave without compensation).

- Dogs must be under strict control at all times while on the property.
- Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleaned up without delay.
- The owner must bring the dog?s bed or basket for sleeping in.
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
- Dogs must not lie on beds or chairs, and hair must be cleared up before departing.

There are far reaching views over open fields and the cottage s thick walls retain warmth for cosy winter visits and cool for summer days. The quiet immediate location is a haven for birds including birds of prey and many small garden varieties. Wildlife is abundant here and in the National Trust Ashclyst Forest which this cottage overlooks. This makes the area ideal for energetic walkers or a quiet ramble along the forest paths and around Broadclyst village. The East Devon beaches are a short drive away with their sheltered coves sandy and pebble beaches coastal walking or a stroll along the prom at Sidmouth. The Jurassic Coast provides plenty of fossil hunting and the National Trust at nearby Killerton House and Bicton Gardens make a great day out. The nearby town of Exeter has facilities to suit all tastes with its ancient Cathedral remaining Roman wall and modern shopping centre. The quay area is particularly interesting for a stroll and lunch or simply sitting beside the River Exe watching the world go by. The accommodation is furnished and equipped to a high standard and offers ONE bedroom: double with TV/DVD approached via open cottage style stairs with en-suite corner bath shower over and WC.
