We do have strict guidelines for dog owners and they very rarely present a problem. We do ask all dog owners to adhere to these guidelines (failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave without compensation).

- Dogs must be under strict control at all times while on the property.
- Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleaned up without delay.
- The owner must bring the dog?s bed or basket for sleeping in.
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
- Dogs must not lie on beds or chairs, and hair must be cleared up before departing.

About the property 1 OF 2 COTTAGES SLEEPING 2 - 4 IDEAL FOR COUPLES - PEACEFUL YET CONVENIENT BASE TO EXPLORE DORSET/SOMERSET AND WILTSHIRE REGRET NO BABIES OR CHILDREN UNDER 7 YEARS These two delightful semi-detached cottages are set within the grounds of the owners home on the edge of this idyllic village with impressive mediaeval Church and breathtaking views over surrounding countryside. Being only 2 hours from London the cottages make an easy get away from it all holiday location. Visiting one of the many film locations and National Trust properties such as Montacute (Wolf Hall Sense & Sensability) Stourhead (Pride and Prejudice Emma) and Barrington Court (Wolf Hall) are a must and Longleat with its famous Safari Park is great fun for adults and children alike. For those who like a flutter Wincanton Racecourse is just 3 miles away or take the short drive to the south coast with sandy beaches such as Weymouth Lyme Regis Chesil Beach Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door being well worth a visit (all approximately 45 minutes drive). The cottages are both south facing and offer views over the surrounding garden with its small pond to the fields beyond. Early risers have often spotted local wildlife frequent visitors include deer foxes and swallows return every year in summer and the owner s own pets add to the country ambience. Walkers and cyclists are well catered for with circular routes direct from the cottages. If that seems too energetic why not take a short drive to one of the many pubs/restaurants or just sit back relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of this beautiful part of the country. Shared utility: use of the adjacent laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside: Large shared enclosed garden area with pond and driveway. Amenities: ample parking.
