We do have strict guidelines for dog owners and they very rarely present a problem. We do ask all dog owners to adhere to these guidelines (failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave without compensation).

- Dogs must be under strict control at all times while on the property.
- Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleaned up without delay.
- The owner must bring the dog?s bed or basket for sleeping in.
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
- Dogs must not lie on beds or chairs, and hair must be cleared up before departing.

About the property FORMER FISHERMANS COTTAGE A SHORT STROLL FROM PUBS SHOPS AND QUAYSIDE Refurbished in 2015 this hidden property is set in a small pedestrian walk way within the ancient fishing village of Appledore with its quaint cobbled and car free streets and excellent family pubs and galleries. Stroll along the bustling quayside with direct access to National Trust cliff-top and river walks and the Maritime Museum explaining the history of the village. The 2 miles of golden sandy surfing beach at Westward Ho! is under 2 miles and there are many other attractions all within easy reach. The pannier market town of Bideford is a 10-minute drive with its shops and restaurants and is home to The Oldenburg for day trips to Lundy Island alternatively the passenger ferry on Appledore Quay operates regularly to Instow during the summer. In the evenings enjoy a range of fine cuisine from one of the many pubs and restaurants all within walking distance. The accommodation offers ONE bedroom: accessed via a steep oak kite winder staircase double bed with TV and exposed beams. Bathroom: with roll top bath separate shower and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: open plan with woodburner effect electric fire and exposed stonework. Kitchen area with electric oven and gas hob fridge with ice compartment washing machine dishwasher and microwave. Outside: small secure outside area ideal for storage of surfboards body boards or bikes. Amenities: roadside parking or pay and display car park nearby. Bed linen towels electric central heating and Wi-Fi included. 1 dog welcome 2 small dogs by arrangement. Regret no smoking. Location: beach 2 miles shops and pubs within walking distance.
