We do have strict guidelines for dog owners and they very rarely present a problem. We do ask all dog owners to adhere to these guidelines (failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave without compensation).

- Dogs must be under strict control at all times while on the property.
- Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleaned up without delay.
- The owner must bring the dog?s bed or basket for sleeping in.
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
- Dogs must not lie on beds or chairs, and hair must be cleared up before departing.

Bakewell is close by with its quaint shops also the historical spa town of Buxton has a theatre an opera house and show caverns to wow day trippers. The 17th century cottage adopts an open-plan layout with a spectacular kitchen/diner and lounge area that has exposed stone walls that create a wonderful sense of warmth and character. The rural-style kitchen is complete with all the essentials including a Rayburn. The lounge area has a log burning stove which provides a focal point to the main living space that also boasts exposed beams that add to its charm. Upstairs there is a cosy mezzanine bedroom with a king-size bed. The exposed wood beam ceiling creates an enchanting atmosphere for the lovely cottage bedroom. The property has a bathroom which consists of a bath hand-held shower and hand basin. Outside there are five acres of gardens which include a Japanese garden an orchard a kitchen garden and a pond. Chickens wander freely in the grounds adding to the country charm of this delightful property. Seasonal food from the gardens can be pre-ordered.
