We do have strict guidelines for dog owners and they very rarely present a problem. We do ask all dog owners to adhere to these guidelines (failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave without compensation).

- Dogs must be under strict control at all times while on the property.
- Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleaned up without delay.
- The owner must bring the dog?s bed or basket for sleeping in.
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
- Dogs must not lie on beds or chairs, and hair must be cleared up before departing.

Explore the nearby pretty market town of Bakewell with its many shops and cafes or head to the historical spa town of Buxton for a spot of culture in the town s opera house or one of its show caverns. The cottage layout hinges on an open-plan lounge-diner design with exposed stone walls and wooden beams that add to the charm. There is an inviting log burning stove which gives the space a welcoming vibe that s perfect for those cosy nights in. The lounge also contains a sofa bed for occasional use. There is a kitchen equipped with all the necessities that guests require and a table that s perfect for intimate dining. A bathroom is located on this floor too. A narrow staircase leads to a double bedroom with king size bed and skylight that adds a brightness to the space. Through a low doorframe there is a mezzanine level with exposed wood beams that create an inviting ambience to this delightful room. Outside there are a wealth of pretty gardens check out the beautiful Japanese garden a kitchen garden and a pond all of which are nestled in the five acres of grounds that surround the cottage. Chickens roam around like lords through the gardens and add to the countryside charm of the property. There is a delightful seating area is just perfect for relaxing and drinking in the beauty of the surrounds in the evening after a good days walking.
