If you are thinking of taking a puppy this MUST be declared to holidaycottages.co.uk at the time of booking and will need to be specifically authorised by the owner.

We do have strict guidelines for dog owners and they very rarely present a problem. We do ask all dog owners to adhere to these guidelines (failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave without compensation).

- Dogs must be under strict control at all times while on the property.
- Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleaned up without delay.
- The owner must bring the dog?s bed or basket for sleeping in.
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
- Dogs must not lie on beds or chairs, and hair must be cleared up before departing.

About the property CHARMING CONVERTED APARTMENT ON THE BANKS OF WATER OF LEITH - SLEEPS 2 2 This modern ground floor apartment within a late 18th century building retains many of the original features including wooden beams and stone pillars with patio doors opening out onto the cobbled wharf on the banks of the river. Located in a unique and quiet waterside location adjacent to the lively Leith Shore and a short walk from Commercial Wharf. The area enjoys a thriving Continental atmosphere and an exciting choice of restaurants including a Michelin star restaurant opposite. The Royal Yacht Britannia is a short walk away as is the Ocean Terminal Shopping and Leisure Complex. The 12 mile Water of Leith Walkway runs from Leith to Balerno a designated Urban Wildlife Site and home to over 80 species of birds and patches of ancient woodland. It is a delightful afternoon s stroll which passes many points of interest including the Scottish Gallery of Modern Art Royal Botanic Gardens and Dean Village. There are ten local golf courses within 3 miles and the beautiful East Coast offers some of the best areas in Scotland for golf with a wide array of stunning and historic courses. Excellent day/night bus service into town. The accommodation offers ONE double bedroom. Bathroom: shower over bath. Lounge/kitchen: electric oven fridge microwave washing machine TV DVD and hi-fi. (1 double bed settee in the lounge/kitchen.) Amenities: large private car park at the rear of the property. Bed linen towels electric and heating and WI-FI included. 1 dog welcome. Location: Princes Street 1.5 miles. Arrival 2.30pm.
