We do have strict guidelines for dog owners and they very rarely present a problem. We do ask all dog owners to adhere to these guidelines (failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave without compensation).

- Dogs must be under strict control at all times while on the property.
- Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleaned up without delay.
- The owner must bring the dog?s bed or basket for sleeping in.
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
- Dogs must not lie on beds or chairs, and hair must be cleared up before departing.

About the property ROMANTIC YURT AND SHEPHERDS HUT QUIETLY LOCATED WITH SWEEPING VIEWS SLEEPS 2 2 Country living starts as soon as you turn off the lane. Say hello to the free ranging Kune pigs and friendly goats and don t forget to pick up some free eggs and sausages from the farm. The property has been hand crafted and carefully considered to sit quietly within the surrounding landscape. Set between Hereford with a cathedral and cheese shop and Abergavenny with a farmers market. Visit Monmouth with ancient bridge and pretty trails along the River Wye. Nearby attractions include Phistle Brook View approximately 25 minutes from each town. Hay-on-Wye with bookshops as well as an annual book festival. Cycling in the area with bike hire available for delivery to the farm too. Garway Hill is a great one to start with and includes cycling around the four main Norman Castles in the area Skenfrith Grosmont Whitecastle and Raglan. A great day in the saddle and plenty of good country pubs to visit en-route. The yurt offers: living/diner/sleeping area: with woodburner (first basket of logs included) and futon. Sleeping area has a double bed. Dining area with dining table and chairs. The shepherds hut offers: Kitchen area with gas hob and sink. Bathroom: with shower over bath. Separate compost WC. Outside: decking with outdoor furniture and fire pit. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen and towels included. Regret no smoking. 2 dogs welcome. Need to know SLEEPS 2 - 4 : An eco - friendly place to stay there is a hand made oak double bed with decent mattress and proper bed linen. There is also a double futon. Bedding is provided for up to four persons. RELAXING : The yurt is the chill out zone designed for eating sleeping and deeply relaxing! Large wood burning stove with logs and kindling futon sofa dining table and chairs for meals. There is mobile reception on most networks. COOKING : The hand built shepherds hut houses a cleverly designed kitchen with gas hob butler sink hot and cold running water all the pots pans crockery and cutlery you should need. There is a dining table directly outside on the deck overlooking the view plus a dining table inside the yurt. KEEPING CLEAN : The Shepherds Hut has a full length window which looks out across the Black Mountains and rolling countryside all best enjoyed from the double ended claw foot bath tub! Hot and cold water plus an overhead shower too. Towels included. There is a separate compost loo with a long drop it s very clean and civilised! OUTSIDE SPACE : Incredible outside space acres of meadow and woodland all around you which you re welcome to explore. Handy outside tap for washing off muddy boots and fire pit for toasting marshmallows and campfire stories! Rustic playground in the surrounding woodland. PETS : Two well behaved dogs are very welcome at Phistle Brook View
