If you are thinking of taking a puppy this MUST be declared to holidaycottages.co.uk at the time of booking and will need to be specifically authorised by the owner.

We do have strict guidelines for dog owners and they very rarely present a problem. We do ask all dog owners to adhere to these guidelines (failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave without compensation).

- Dogs must be under strict control at all times while on the property.
- Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleaned up without delay.
- The owner must bring the dog?s bed or basket for sleeping in.
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
- Dogs must not lie on beds or chairs, and hair must be cleared up before departing.

About the property DETACHED BUNGALOW SET IN 2 ACRES OF WORKING SMALLHOLDING CLOSE TO BOTH COAST AND DARTMOOR Set in an elevated position within the grounds of the owners electronic gated home this convenient yet peaceful location provides an excellent base to enjoy all that South Devon has to offer. Enjoy seeing the owners chickens ducks geese and resident pig. This area of exceptional beauty offers river estuaries rolling hills and thatched cottages surrounding the lovely old towns of Dartmouth Totnes Kingsbridge Salcombe Modbury and Ivybridge. There are many family beaches in the South Hams and there are many attractions nearby including Dartmoor National Park the English Riviera Exeter Plymouth Haldon Forest and The South Devon Railway. For guests interested in country pursuits the owner can arrange for clay pigeon /rough shooting as well as stalking (at additional cost). The stylish accommodation consists of ONE double bedroom with TV. Shower room: with WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan with woodburner (first basket of logs included more logs can be purchased from the owner onsite.) TV Blu-ray DVD sofa bed a selection of books and patio doors overlooking the garden and to the moors. Kitchen area: well-equipped with electric oven and hob fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. Outside: across the drive is a lawn area with access to an enclosed area ideal for exercising dogs garden furniture and BBQ. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen towels electric central heating and Wi-Fi included. 2 dogs welcome (dogs must be kept on a lead outdoors unless in the exercise paddock). Regret no smoking. Additional info: fresh eggs seasonal vegetables preserves and cut flowers available to purchase from owner s garden. There is also a separate building where dogs can go to dry off and guests can store their muddy boots and coats. Location: beach 12 miles shop 2.5 miles pub 1.5 miles. Golf Course 4 miles.
