We do have strict guidelines for dog owners and they very rarely present a problem. We do ask all dog owners to adhere to these guidelines (failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave without compensation).

- Dogs must be under strict control at all times while on the property.
- Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleaned up without delay.
- The owner must bring the dog?s bed or basket for sleeping in.
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
- Dogs must not lie on beds or chairs, and hair must be cleared up before departing.

About the property MAGNIFICENT VICTORIAN MANOR HOUSE WITH STUNNING COUNTRYSIDE VIEWS Formally owned by a Glasgow shipping family this detached property sits within an estate and dates from 1860. Situated at the end of sweeping driveway lined with lime trees and conifers the property is set in glorious gardens overlooking Loch Striven. The beautiful Cowal Peninsular offers an exceptional highland experience with deep glens waterfalls rivers acres of forest and hills to explore. The estate is in a peaceful secluded loch side location and is well placed for exploring the area and for day trips to Glasgow Loch Lomond and the Clyde coast. There are extensive walks mountain bike trails as well as fishing clay shooting stalking hillwalking and golf. Dunoon accessed by ferry from Gourock is the main town in the area and offers a museum leisure centre and a fascinating selection of craft shops galleries cafes and restaurants. Leisure facilities: game and clay pigeon shooting on site with gamekeepers and fishing by prior arrangement with the owner and subject to conditions. Tennis court. Games room: with billiard table and bar (can be stocked by prior arrangement). Also a unique small public house on the Estate which is a short walk from the house boasting previous guest signatures and a couple of famous names on the ceiling this can be open for parties when booked in advance. The Main House offers FIVE Bedrooms: 1 super-king-size with TV en-suite bathroom with bath shower and WC 1 super-king-size with en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath shower and WC 1 twin with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC 1 king-size and 1 double. Bathroom: with bath shower and WC. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Separate WC on the ground floor. Lounge: with open fire TV and Hifi. Dining room: seats 20. Kitchen/diner: well-equipped with AGA double electric oven and hob and fridge. Pantry: with freezer ice machine and 2 fridges. Utility room: with washing machine and tumble dryer. The Annexe offers THREE bedrooms: 1 double with additional single with Jack and Jill en-suite bathroom with shower over bath shower and WC 1 double and 1 twin. Bathroom: with bath and WC. The Stable Block offers TWO bedrooms: on ground floor 1 king-size with en-suite bathroom with bath shower and WC and 1 double with en-suite bathroom with bath shower and WC. Outside: landscaped and lawn garden with outside seating stunning views overlooking loch. Amenities: ample off-road parking. Bed linen towels electric central heating and Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking. 4 Dogs welcome (must be kept in boot room or kennels). Additional info: the Stable Block is a separate building detached from the main manor house this is a few hundred yards away and visible from the kitchen window. There are Chefs available and catering can be arranged direct with the owner subject to additional costs. The property is on a working estate with stalking in the summer and shooting in the winter. Location: shop and pub 11 miles. Arrival: 4pm.
