If you are thinking of taking a puppy this MUST be declared to holidaycottages.co.uk at the time of booking and will need to be specifically authorised by the owner.

Sometimes it will state 'by arrangement', if so, the breed or size of dog will need to be checked with the owner of the property.

We do have strict guidelines for dog owners and they very rarely present a problem. We do ask all dog owners to adhere to these guidelines (failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave without compensation).

- Dogs must be under strict control at all times while on the property.
- Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleaned up without delay.
- The owner must bring the dog?s bed or basket for sleeping in.
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
- Dogs must not lie on beds or chairs, and hair must be cleared up before departing.

This 'cottage' is part of the farm at West Luccombe, it's a traditional building with bags of charm and very spacious. Offering versatile accommodation for up to 6 guests, it's also just five minutes from Porlock. Farm Cottage is situated in West Luccombe in the Horner Valley, which is just a mile from the village of Porlock. This cottage is part of the farmhouse at West Luccombe, which is a National Trust 300 acre farm on the Holnicote Estate. This area is known as a walkers paradise due to the beautiful wooded valleys with streams, open moorland and rolling hills, plus the magnificent coastal scenery. There is a fantastic network of marked footpaths from the front door.Farm Cottage has all the charm and character you would expect of this type of traditional building; an Aga in the kitchen, a wood-burner in the sitting room, very spacious throughout and much more besides.
The entrance hall leads into the kitchen with dining table, there is also a separate large sitting room with wood-burner. Farm Cottage sleeps 6 having three good sized bedrooms upstairs, two double (king-sized beds) and one twin room, which all enjoy lovely views across the fields. There is a family bathroom with shower over the bath, plus separate toilet downstairs.
Farm Cottage has its own separate driveway, plenty of parking for three cars or more and a private garden. It is situated on a working farm so great for the kids to be involved if they wish, just ask Jane the owner.
