We do have strict guidelines for dog owners and they very rarely present a problem. We do ask all dog owners to adhere to these guidelines (failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave without compensation).

- Dogs must be under strict control at all times while on the property.
- Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleaned up without delay.
- The owner must bring the dog?s bed or basket for sleeping in.
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
- Dogs must not lie on beds or chairs, and hair must be cleared up before departing.

This property is located just a short drive to the market town of Blandford Forum which offers delightful and varied shopping a weekly market and regular farmers markets tea rooms restaurants and a good bus service. The cottage is also within walking distance across the river to the village pub and shop. Well placed for visiting Dorset s Jurassic Coast with the impressive Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. The award-winning sandy beaches of Bournemouth Sandbanks and Weymouth are within easy driving distance. Many attractions are available such as Monkey World Longleat and various National Trust properties. Games room: with table football. Play/leisure facilities: Outdoor table tennis boules and croquet. 4 mountain bikes are also available on loan to ride the nearby trail way. Fishing available by arrangement on owner s stretch of the River Stour where guests can also launch kayaks/canoes from the island which is a haven for birds and otters. The bright and comfortable accommodation all on one level offers: TWO bedrooms. 1 king-size double and 1 twin room with 2 6 beds (can be made in to a double on request at time of booking). Shower room: with WC. Lounge/diner: with woodburner (logs included) TV/DVD Wi-Fi and iPod dock as well as a selection of books and games. Kitchen: well fitted with electric cooker fridge/freezer washing machine dishwasher and many extras such as Nespresso coffee machine. Outside: covered seating area with BBQ and large enclosed lawn. Additional info: the river is accessed via the owner s garden where guests may meet the owner s 3 large friendly dogs. Also available for an additional cost of 50 per night or 250 per week is a Shepherd s Hut located in the nearby paddock with river views complete with double bed woodburner separate kitchen hut compost WC and firepit.
