We do have strict guidelines for dog owners and they very rarely present a problem. We do ask all dog owners to adhere to these guidelines (failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave without compensation).

- Dogs must be under strict control at all times while on the property.
- Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleaned up without delay.
- The owner must bring the dog?s bed or basket for sleeping in.
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
- Dogs must not lie on beds or chairs, and hair must be cleared up before departing.

Steeped in history Dorset s beautiful landscape of rolling chalk downland and hidden valleys affords wonderful walking. The area offers a wealth of pretty villages sandy beaches and a coastline which has World Heritage status. There are several golf courses nearby horse riding and water activities can be enjoyed at Halstock Reservoir. The towns of Dorchester Sherborne and Yeovil are easily accessible and there are many National Trust properties and gardens to visit including Montacute and Stourhead. In addition to this there are many attractions including Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum Haynes Motor Museum Monkey World and Abbotsbury Swannery. Farm activities: though set on the edge of an organic farm but in a non-working part the owner would be delighted to show guests around the farm which is only a short walk away from the cottages. There is also a small flock of sheep and chickens in the cider orchard close by. Games room: shared with a snooker table table football and darts. Outside: the grounds offer stunning views of the surrounding countryside as well as a lake which attract a wealth of wildlife and superb country walking on the doorstep. Cycle store.
