We do have strict guidelines for dog owners and they very rarely present a problem. We do ask all dog owners to adhere to these guidelines (failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave without compensation).

- Dogs must be under strict control at all times while on the property.
- Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleaned up without delay.
- The owner must bring the dog?s bed or basket for sleeping in.
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
- Dogs must not lie on beds or chairs, and hair must be cleared up before departing.

Worthy Cottage is situated on the grounds of the main manor house at Porlock Weir and offers a fantastic romantic retreat away from the business of day-to-day life.  It is a great retreat and there are many walks. Worthy Cottage is a beautiful 'gatehouse' cottage, perfectly suited to couples looking for a romantic retreat in a wonderful secluded location. The property has recently been given a complete make-over and the high specification finish is evident throughout, with new oak and slate flooring, carpets, kitchen and more. Worthy Cottage is located at the entrance to Worthy Manor, the grounds and gardens of which have been featured in Country Life magazine.
