We do have strict guidelines for dog owners and they very rarely present a problem. We do ask all dog owners to adhere to these guidelines (failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave without compensation).

- Dogs must be under strict control at all times while on the property.
- Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleaned up without delay.
- The owner must bring the dog?s bed or basket for sleeping in.
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
- Dogs must not lie on beds or chairs, and hair must be cleared up before departing.

About the property COSY COTTAGE WITH WOODBURNER AND FANTASTIC WALKS RIGHT ON YOUR DOOR STEP The property has been tastefully preserved making it both cosy on the inside and very beautiful on the outside and is set in one of the best locations for a walking holiday in Wales a secluded romantic and peaceful escape to explore the Welsh countryside. The Llanthony Valley has lots to offer start with the Cistercian Abbey in the village and visit the crooked church at Cwmyoy the ancient church at Partrishow with its holy well or sneak a peek at the monastery hidden in the woods. Nearby attractions include pony trekking in the National Park there are a couple of trekking centres close at hand with Grange Trekking being the closest. Abergavenny with its castle shops and restaurants is only a short drive. The historic town of Hay-on-Wye is an internationally renowned literary haven 30 minutes away or venture further afield to Crickhowell Brecon or Hereford. The accommodation offers two bedrooms: 1 double with en-suite shower and 1 twin. Bathroom: with bath and WC. Separate WC on the ground floor. Lounge: with woodburner (logs included) TV DVD a selection of books and board games. Kitchen: with Rayburn gas oven and gas hob microwave and fridge/freezer. Utility room: with washer/dryer. Outside: enclosed garden with outdoor furniture and BBQ. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen towels central heating included. Regret no smoking. 2 well-behaved dogs welcome. Additional info: welcome pack provided on arrival. Location: pub within walking distance. Need to know SLEEPING: Sleeps 2- 4: Two spacious bedrooms a large double with en suite Kudos shower and corner hand basin. Next door is the generous second bedroom with two comfy single beds. RELAXING: Hard to do anything else! Lovely cosy sitting room wood burner and large French windows opening into the pretty woodland garden. TV/DVD books board games ...... and silence. EATING: Generous country kitchen with an oil-fired Rayburn gas hob and oven fridge/freezer microwave. Farmhouse table and chairs. A generous welcome basket which includes fresh eggs wine bread and milk greet you. WASHING: There is an upstairs bathroom with a bath (and overhead shower) basin and loo. The master bedroom also has a shower and basin. Downstairs you will find a cloakroom with loo and basin. There is also a laundry area downstairs with washer/dryer. OUTSIDE: Pretty country garden with outdoor furniture and a barbeque is set in in a forest of native trees and shrubs. Miles of peace and quiet surround you. An abundance of bird life all around. PETS: This is a lovely dog friendly holiday cottage two well-behaved dogs are very welcome there is an additional 20 charge per dog. The separate porch is an ideal area for drying off after walks TECH: The cottage is an anti-dote to the 21st Century. Electricity only arrived here in 1996. There is no mobile reception or internet which only enhances the experience of stepping back in time. There is a landline. ACCESS: The cottage is reached along half a mile of hardcore forest track. This is suitable for all vehicles with average ground clearance or above -please drive carefully.
