Sometimes it will state 'by arrangement', if so, the breed or size of dog will need to be checked with the owner of the property.

We do have strict guidelines for dog owners and they very rarely present a problem. We do ask all dog owners to adhere to these guidelines (failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave without compensation).

- Dogs must be under strict control at all times while on the property.
- Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleaned up without delay.
- The owner must bring the dog?s bed or basket for sleeping in.
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
- Dogs must not lie on beds or chairs, and hair must be cleared up before departing.

The nearby pretty villages of Tissington and Ashbourne are a delightful way to pass the day strolling around cobble streets and quaint shops. Visit Dovedale and its famous stepping stones or simply head out to walk the valleys and dales that make up this spectacular location. Feature beams throughout the ground floor of this cottage create a wonderful ambience. The main entrance hall has great storage for those muddy boots and coats as well as a bathroom with an electric shower hand basin and toilet for scrubbing up after a long walk. The property s kitchen is equipped with all the necessities and leads through to the lounge area with a flame effect stove that emits a pleasant warmth for those cosy nights in. Upstairs there are two bedrooms underneath the sloping ceilings with exposed beams. The first bedroom is a spacious double and the second contains two single beds. There is also a main bathroom with a bath hand basin and toilet. Outside there are two patio areas one to the front of the property which leads onto a lawn garden and enjoys all day sunshine. The second seating area is reached via a door from the lounge and provides a secluded spot for relaxing. This cottage is one of two in this location. Booked together the cottages can sleep up to eight people making them great for groups - Dovedale Barn.
