We do have strict guidelines for dog owners and they very rarely present a problem. We do ask all dog owners to adhere to these guidelines (failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave without compensation).

- Dogs must be under strict control at all times while on the property.
- Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleaned up without delay.
- The owner must bring the dog?s bed or basket for sleeping in.
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
- Dogs must not lie on beds or chairs, and hair must be cleared up before departing.

About the property PEACEFULLY LOCATED IN ONE OF APPLEDORE S MOST FAMOUS QUAINT STREETS This beautifully presented cottage is situated directly opposite a slipway therefore benefits from estuary views from the lounge kitchen and master bedroom. Set in the heart of Appledore and only minutes away from the quayside and the many restaurants pubs shops and galleries. Take a short drive over the river to the sandy beach of Instow or visit Westward Ho! that boasts 2 miles of golden sandy beach. Nearby are a wealth of attractions that include The Big Sheep The Milky Way the cobbled streets of Clovelly Dartington Crystal Lundy Island and many more. For the sporting enthusiasts visit the Royal Devon Yacht Club at the village of Instow or a game of golf at the Royal Devon Golf Club in Westward Ho! or perhaps take a boat trip from Appledore quayside to go deep-sea fishing. The famous beaches of North Devon can all be reached easily for surfing or days by the sea. The market town of Barnstaple offers good shopping including the characterful Pannier Market and Butcher s Row The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms approached via steep cottage style stairs both with TV s: 1 double with en-suite WC and TV and 1 twin (which can be made into a double upon request). Bathroom: with bath shower cubicle and WC on the ground floor. Lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan with gas effect woodburner fire TV DVD and CD player. Kitchen: with gas hob electric oven microwave fridge with ice compartment dishwasher washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside: steps lead up to an enclosed terrace with outside seating and BBQ. Amenities: pay and display parking and roadside parking (subject to availability) close by. Bed linen towels electric Wi-Fi and central heating included. Regret no smoking. 1 dog welcome. Location: walking distance from slipway to beach shops and pubs.
