Most properties where dogs are welcome will allow them throughout, however please check the individual property description as some owners may request that they are restricted to a specific area i.e. kitchen or conservatory etc.

If you are thinking of taking a puppy this MUST be declared to holidaycottages.co.uk at the time of booking and will need to be specifically authorised by the owner.

Sometimes it will state 'by arrangement', if so, the breed or size of dog will need to be checked with the owner of the property.

We do have strict guidelines for dog owners and they very rarely present a problem. We do ask all dog owners to adhere to these guidelines (failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave without compensation).

- Dogs must be under strict control at all times while on the property.
- Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleaned up without delay.
- The owner must bring the dog?s bed or basket for sleeping in.
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
- Dogs must not lie on beds or chairs, and hair must be cleared up before departing.

In chillier weather a visit to nearby Rye is in order where you can walk in the footsteps of smugglers during one of the organised history walks which tours its ancient cobbled streets. A light and airy hall welcomes you into this attractive cottage. To the left you will find a contemporary kitchen with a whitewashed floor pretty table and chairs and nautical accessories. In the kitchen you will find an electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer coffee machine dishwasher and washing machine. The lounge continues the nautical theme with seascape artwork and a timber dining table. The dining table overlooks a decked terrace area through French windows which has a table and chairs parasol and BBQ for al fresco dining in the summer. Upstairs the master bedroom with a king-size zip-and-link bed which can be made as a twin if required presents a calm and relaxing space with fresh linen nautically striped furnishings and whitewashed walls. The other bedroom has twin zip-and-link beds that can be converted into a super-king-size if required. Both bedrooms have a clock radio with iPod docking station and share a bathroom with an overhead shower. Outside on the south-facing decked terrace there is a teak table and chairs for al fresco dining and making the most of the charcoal BBQ during the summer months. This then drops down to a pretty pebbled garden which is fully enclosed making it a safe haven for dogs and children alike. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The amount of the security deposit is simply reserved and then released afterwards if there is no damage.
