We do have strict guidelines for dog owners and they very rarely present a problem. We do ask all dog owners to adhere to these guidelines (failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave without compensation).

- Dogs must be under strict control at all times while on the property.
- Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleaned up without delay.
- The owner must bring the dog?s bed or basket for sleeping in.
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
- Dogs must not lie on beds or chairs, and hair must be cleared up before departing.

Relax and explore the fields and local surroundings to fully appreciate rural life. Close by is the village of Bere Alston for all your local amenities. Located in a rural setting yet close to the historic town of Tavistock and the ocean city of Plymouth steeped in maritime history. Tavistock nestling in the foothills of Dartmoor provides a great shopping experience with independent stores and the famous indoor pannier market. Plymouth with the historic barbican and Royal William Yard has a thriving foodie scene. With restaurants stylish boutiques galleries and bars set amongst the backdrop of Plymouth sound. Attractions include the National Marine Aquarium the Theatre Royal Plymouth Dartmoor National Park Buckland Abby and Morwellham Quay many National Trust properties. Farm activities: guests are welcome to get involved with the various seasonal farming activities throughout the year all under supervision of the owners. February-March guests can help bottle feed the lambs. Other seasonal farming pursuits include watch the sheep shearing taking a look at the tractors and watching the hay making. There is also a farm trail which guests can walk along and enjoy on their own a route map is provided. The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: on the second floor 1 double and 1triple. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Lounge: with woodburner (first basket of logs included) TV and DVD on the first floor. Kitchen/diner: with electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washer/dryer. Outside: enclosed garden area with furniture and BBQ. Amenities: off-road parking.
