We do have strict guidelines for dog owners and they very rarely present a problem. We do ask all dog owners to adhere to these guidelines (failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave without compensation).

- Dogs must be under strict control at all times while on the property.
- Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleaned up without delay.
- The owner must bring the dog?s bed or basket for sleeping in.
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
- Dogs must not lie on beds or chairs, and hair must be cleared up before departing.

Halsecombe Cottage is a delightful bungalow situated on the outskirts of Porlock and occupies an enviable position tucked into the lower slopes of Porlock Hill.  One of the main features of Halsecombe is the view. Halsecombe Cottage is a delightful detached bungalow that was built in the 1920s. It is situated on the outskirts of Porlock and occupies an enviable position tucked into the lower slopes of Porlock Hill. A main feature of Halsecombe is the stunning view of Porlock Bay which can be enjoyed whilst you are relaxing in the living room and watching the ever changing light on the Bristol Channel, or you can look across to the old orchard opposite where red deer can frequently be seen. There is also a wooden arbour in the top garden where you can relax with a drink whilst enjoying the view.
Entrance is via a small porch into the living room, the kitchen has a dining table and there are two bedrooms - one double and one twin. The family bathroom is situated at the end of the hall, which has a shower over the bath.
