We do have strict guidelines for dog owners and they very rarely present a problem. We do ask all dog owners to adhere to these guidelines (failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave without compensation).

- Dogs must be under strict control at all times while on the property.
- Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleaned up without delay.
- The owner must bring the dog?s bed or basket for sleeping in.
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
- Dogs must not lie on beds or chairs, and hair must be cleared up before departing.

It has stunning views across the Elan Valley and the woodlands of RSPB Carngafallt Nature Reserve. Located within Elan village which has a unique character and is the only Arts and Crafts model village in Wales. The Elan Valley is part of the rugged Cambrian Mountains an unspoilt conservation area made more compelling by dams rivers and reservoirs. Keen anglers can enjoy the abundance of wild brown trout and grayling The Elan Valley Trail is a hidden gem with surfaced paths following the route of the old railway line; ideal for walkers and cyclists with cycle hire available at the Elan Valley Visitors Centre within 1 mile of the property. Further afield is Rhayader said to be the oldest town in mid Wales and home to the Red Kite feeding station or visit Powys Castle a medieval fortress perched high on a rock above its world-famous garden terraces.
