We do have strict guidelines for dog owners and they very rarely present a problem. We do ask all dog owners to adhere to these guidelines (failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave without compensation).

- Dogs must be under strict control at all times while on the property.
- Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleaned up without delay.
- The owner must bring the dog?s bed or basket for sleeping in.
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
- Dogs must not lie on beds or chairs, and hair must be cleared up before departing.

Enjoy some lovely walks around the estate grounds or relax by the Willsworthy Brook in the secluded cottage garden exclusive for guests use. On a sunny day you may also like to take a dip in the rock pool. In the evening take in the stunning views of Dartmoor and gorgeous sunsets from the courtyard seating area. Nearby is the award winning market town of Tavistock with its famous market shops pubs and restaurants. The beaches on the south coasts of Devon and Cornwall are easily reached.The nearby attractions include National Trust properties such as Lydford Gorge and Castle Drogo or visit Becky falls and historic Plymouth with its Hoe Barbican and National Marine Aquarium. Leisure facilities: guests are welcome to fish for trout and salmon on the estates stretch of the River Tavy or you might like to try your hand at falconry which can be arranged onsite through the owners. The estate also has a stable yard and an infamous Shetland Pony named Jerry who is perfect for younger guests to pat and groom. It may also be possible to arrange pony rides direct with the owner. Alternatively you can explore the moors on horse back as there is a horse and pony trekking centre just five minutes drive away. The accommodation is finished to an extremely high standard with all rooms having a delightful countryside view. There are THREE large bedrooms: 1 twin downstairs. Upstairs offers 1 king-size with en-suite bathroom with bath large shower and WC. 1 further double. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: with multi-fuel woodburner (first basket of logs included further available to purchase from the owners) TV DVD iPod dock cooker fridge/freezer dishwasher washer/dryer and microwave.
