We do have strict guidelines for dog owners and they very rarely present a problem. We do ask all dog owners to adhere to these guidelines (failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave without compensation).

- Dogs must be under strict control at all times while on the property.
- Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleaned up without delay.
- The owner must bring the dog?s bed or basket for sleeping in.
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
- Dogs must not lie on beds or chairs, and hair must be cleared up before departing.

Located just 2 miles away from the village of Alstonefield which lies on the Derbyshire/Staffordshire border which is home to the welcoming drinking hole The George. The immediate area offers an abundance of countryside pursuits including great walking and cycling routes including the Alstonefield Walk which is a moderate 4.5 mile path through Hall Dale with views of the River Dove and back around to Millfield. There are some other places of special interest in the locality like Thor s Cave Hartington and the Manifold Visitor Centre. Breath-taking views of the countryside and beyond welcome you as you make your way up the scenic drive to the cottage and soak up the rural atmosphere along the way. The lounge has an open coal fire perfect for cosying up in front on colder nights and the kitchen is equipped with all the essentials you will need to prepare a delicious meal. Upstairs are three bedrooms one with a four poster double bed and two bedroom with two single beds in each. The bathroom provides a shower over bath and a WC and there is also a shower room with an enclosed shower and separate WC. The interior brings together a wonderful mix of traditional features with the comfort of modern facilities. Outside there is a patio area with a BBQ which is great for alfresco dining a large grassed area and a children s play area.
