We do have strict guidelines for dog owners and they very rarely present a problem. We do ask all dog owners to adhere to these guidelines (failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave without compensation).

- Dogs must be under strict control at all times while on the property.
- Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleaned up without delay.
- The owner must bring the dog?s bed or basket for sleeping in.
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
- Dogs must not lie on beds or chairs, and hair must be cleared up before departing.

About the property PERFECT FOR A PEACEFUL GETAWAY RETREAT AND FOR EXPLORING DEVON. SLEEPS 4 1 This detached period cottage is tucked away amidst the stunning rolling countryside of Devon and is full of much charm and character. Situated down a long private unmade lane in a quiet rural area with views over the countryside to distant Dartmoor. The village of Shebbear is nearby with a mobile Post Office shop church and pub all within a short drive. There are also numerous pubs nearby serving locally produced food. There is plenty to do and see in the area with the long sandy beaches of Bude and Westward Ho! within a 35 minute drive. The rugged Tors and tumbling streams of Dartmoor are a 40 minute drive while Dartington Crystal and RHS Rosemoor Gardens are within easy reach. A wide variety of water sports including fishing canoeing and sailing are available at Tamar Lakes or Roadford Lake while the Granite Way and Tarka Trail provide off-road cycle paths. The accommodation offers THREE bedrooms approached through a low doorway and cottage style stairs: 1 king-size with sloping ceiling 1 twin and 1 small single room. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC on the ground floor. Lounge: with inglenook fireplace and woodburner (first basket of logs included) TV DVD and located to the side of the lounge a cosy snug with seating. Kitchen/diner: with Range with electric oven and gas hob microwave fridge and dishwasher. Utility room: with washing machine and freezer. Outside: large secluded garden and paved patio area with pergola over situated to enjoy the countryside views with outside seating and BBQ. To the front of the cottage is an enclosed paddock perfect for children to play or dogs to exercise. Amenities: parking for 2 cars. Bed linen towels electric central heating and Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking. 1 dog welcome 1 further small dog by arrangement. Additional info: due to the nature of the cottage care must be taken with low ceilings doorways and uneven floors. Private water supply. Location: sandy beaches 35 minute drive village shop and pub 1 mile.
