Sometimes it will state 'by arrangement', if so, the breed or size of dog will need to be checked with the owner of the property.

We do have strict guidelines for dog owners and they very rarely present a problem. We do ask all dog owners to adhere to these guidelines (failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave without compensation).

- Dogs must be under strict control at all times while on the property.
- Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleaned up without delay.
- The owner must bring the dog?s bed or basket for sleeping in.
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
- Dogs must not lie on beds or chairs, and hair must be cleared up before departing.

About the property A CHARMING THATCHED COTTAGE SITUATED IN THE DORSET COUNTRYSIDE Apple Tree Cottage is a delightful semi-detached thatched cottage offering comfortable accommodation in the heart of Dorset. Positioned in the tranquil hamlet of Chantmarle the cottage offers a relaxing retreat and an ideal location for exploring the local areas. There are many historic and cultural towns and villages nearby. The market towns of Dorchester and Sherborne both provide a wide range of historic and cultural attractions including Thomas Hardy s home and museum Sherborne Abbey and Castle. Villages include Cerne Abbas renowned for its 180ft high ancient chalk figure Evershot Beaminster and Abbotsbury. The stunning Jurassic coastline and seaside towns of Weymouth Chesil Beach and Lyme Regis are a short drive away. The whole area boasts beautiful countryside for walking and cycling. Bordering Somerset visitors can also easily reach Bath Glastonbury and Cheddar Gorge within an hour. The accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin on first floor. Bathroom: with handheld shower over bath and WC. 1 twin on the ground floor. Shower room: with electric shower and WC. Living room: with TV and DVD. Dining room. Cloakroom: with WC. Kitchen: double electric oven and microwave electric hob fridge/freezer washer/dryer and dishwasher. Outside: patio area with seating garden and small orchard. Amenities: off road parking bed linen towels electric oil fired central heating and Wi-Fi are included. 2 dogs welcome although garden is not secure. Regret no smoking permitted on the premises either inside or outside due to vicinity of thatch. Location: pub and shop 2 miles beach 11 miles.
