We do have strict guidelines for dog owners and they very rarely present a problem. We do ask all dog owners to adhere to these guidelines (failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave without compensation).

- Dogs must be under strict control at all times while on the property.
- Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleaned up without delay.
- The owner must bring the dog?s bed or basket for sleeping in.
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
- Dogs must not lie on beds or chairs, and hair must be cleared up before departing.

SLEEPS 6 2 This delightful house sits in a large established garden on the edge of the conservation village of Melbury Osmond close to Sherborne and Yeovil. An ideal spot for guests who are looking to explore the local area with pretty villages and towns the Jurassic Coast beaches and sheltered coves all within a short drive. There are also a wealth of attractions to suit all tastes. Locally there are walks including through Melbury Park to the neighbouring village of Evershot with pub and shop. There are many Thomas Hardy locations (his mother was born and married in the village) Sherborne with its abbey and two castles Montacute House Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm museum Haynes Motor Museum the Cerne Giant and on the coast Abbotsbury West Bay and Bridport Weymouth and Lyme Regis. Visitors can use the tennis and boules court in the village. Sailing (reservoir) and golf are also available nearby. Games room: garage with table tennis.
