We do have strict guidelines for dog owners and they very rarely present a problem. We do ask all dog owners to adhere to these guidelines (failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave without compensation).

- Dogs must be under strict control at all times while on the property.
- Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleaned up without delay.
- The owner must bring the dog?s bed or basket for sleeping in.
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
- Dogs must not lie on beds or chairs, and hair must be cleared up before departing.

Occupying an elevated position in ever popular Appledore and with water views from many rooms it provides a truly unique opportunity to holiday in style. The village itself is situated at the point where the rivers Taw and Torridge meet just before joining the Atlantic Ocean and boasts a wealth of maritime history. Explore the picturesque quayside cobbled lanes independent shops and galleries or take the ferry to Instow (summer months) before enjoying a drink or a meal in one of the local pubs or restaurants. Stunning coastal and rural walks including the ever popular Tarka Trail can be found within easy reach allowing you to experience the spectacular coastline and rolling countryside that North Devon is famed for and beach lovers are also well-catered for with two miles of golden sand on offer at nearby Westward Ho! Other attractions close by include RHS Rosemoor and Dartington Crystal. The accommodation is arranged over three floors and offers FOUR bedrooms: on split-level first floor 1 double and 1 small double (with 4ft bed) with door to patio area and en-suite shower and WC. On the second floor 1 king-size with sofa bed and 1 twin both with SmartTV s. Bathroom: with roll-top bath shower and WC on the first floor. Bathroom: with roll-top bath shower and WC on the second floor. Separate WC on the ground floor. Lounge: with SmartTV DVD and estuary views on the first floor. Dining room: with woodburner. Kitchen: with AGA electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Utility room: with washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside: enclosed garden with lawn and large decked area with garden furniture and BBQ approached via a flight of steps and additional lawn area further to this.
