We do have strict guidelines for dog owners and they very rarely present a problem. We do ask all dog owners to adhere to these guidelines (failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave without compensation).

- Dogs must be under strict control at all times while on the property.
- Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleaned up without delay.
- The owner must bring the dog?s bed or basket for sleeping in.
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
- Dogs must not lie on beds or chairs, and hair must be cleared up before departing.

Situated in a wonderful rural area amid the beautiful rolling Lammermuir Hills close to the pretty village of Heriot. Within easy reach of the city of Edinburgh with its fantastic leisure and shopping facilities museums heritage buildings castles theatres fine dining and all-year round festivals including the Fringe and Military Tattoo. Enjoy a day trip to Edinburgh or the Scottish Borders using the new Scottish Borders Railway. The immediate area is a paradise for walkers cyclists and mountain bikers with numerous country tracks and forests tails to explore.
