Pet Restrictions and Welcome Areas
Pets are accepted on the understanding that they are kept under control, exercised off the premises, kept out of bedrooms, off the furniture and that they are never left in the property unattended. To help you choose your property we indicate in the description if it has an enclosed garden; however, this does not necessarily mean it will be escape-proof. You should also bear in mind that many beaches ban all dogs (apart from guide dogs) during the summer months. Please remember to inform Sykes Cottages of the details of all pets accompanying you. Where there is a charge for taking your pet, this will be made clear in the Amenitien section of the cottage description and at the time of booking.
Ideal for a couple wanting to getaway from it all and spend time together on the stunningly beautiful Lizard Peninsula this charming and quirky cottage is set in the courtyard of Tregoning Manor with woods, waterfalls and streams all waiting to be explored. Located just outside the tranquil village of St Keverne, Mole's Cottage provides a really romantic getaway in an idyllic location perfect for touring and only three miles from the small unspoilt fishing village of Coverack with it's large crescent shape beach. Passing through St Keverne you arrive at Tregoning Manor built on the site of an old Cistercian Monastery. From the moment you enter Mole's Cottage you realise that this is a cottage full of character with stone walls, Cornish slate and exposed wooden trusses. The open plan living area has a welcoming woodburning stove for cuddling up in front of on the large cosy sofa on cooler evenings and the kitchen has hand made painted units and bright tiles. Passing by the shower room takes you to the warm and inviting bedroom where you will wake refreshed and maybe fancy breakfast outside in the courtyard amongst the water feature, tree ferns and sculptures. Of an evening why not stroll into St Keverne where a choice of pubs and an excellent restaurant offer a choice of dining options before returning to the special and unique Moles Cottage. Note: This property is on the same site as Ref. 958124, together they sleep 6.
