Access to the Coniston Spa is included in your rental - access times are 6.15am until 3.00pm and 6.00pm -until 9.00pm (Monday to Friday) and 7.15am until 3.00pm and 6.00pm until 8.00pm (Saturday and Sundays). Please note children's access times are from 8.30am until 9.45am. Access to the spa must be booked 24 hours in advance. This can be done by calling the Reservations Team on 01756 748080. If you wish to enhance your stay by booking a treatment at our Spa we highly recommend booking these in advance of your arrival. Guests must be 16yrs or older to receive spa treatments. Resident children under 16yrs are permitted to use the changing rooms, swimming pool, and Spa Brasserie area only. Resident children are not permitted in the thermal suite, Jacuzzi, outdoor infinity edge pool, gym and fitness studio. Children are not permitted to be in the Spa facility outside these hours. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. No ball games are permitted in the spa pool. Pets are accepted on the understanding that they are kept under control, exercised off the premises, kept out of bedrooms, off the furniture and that they are never left in the property unattended. To help you choose your property we indicate in the description if it has an enclosed garden; however, this does not necessarily mean it will be escape-proof. You should also bear in mind that many beaches ban all dogs (apart from guide dogs) during the summer months. Please remember to inform Sykes Cottages of the details of all pets accompanying you. Where there is a charge for taking your pet, this will be made clear in the Amenitien section of the cottage description and at the time of booking.
The Thack is a superb detached cottage, close to the Coniston Hotel Country Estate and Spa, two miles from Gargrave. The cottage can sleep ten people in five bedrooms, which are made up of one super king-size double which is zip/link and can be twin on request with an additional pull-out bed and an en-suite bathroom, three doubles (two with en-suite facilities) and one twin, as well as a separate bathroom and shower room.
