Part of the stunning Sandstone Trail, this short circular walk takes you from Beeston Castle up to the Crag, and offers spectacular views of the Peckforton Hills.  The walk continues past the Victorian Peckforton Castle perched on the wooded Peckforton Hills, and across fields overlooking Peckforton mere.

Car park is Pay & Display. Opens 8am, gates closed 6pm. You can discover more circular walks on the Sandstone Trail here:

You can't go wrong with any of Cheshire's Sandstone Trail walks; my dogs love them. The Beeston Castle historical trail is a wonderful dog walk with an easy park and go.
